The Pixel 6 Pro comes in a more compact box, now that a charger is no longer included. Underneath the handset in the box, you'll find a USB-C to USB-C charging cable, SIM-eject tool, documentation, and a 'Quick Transfer Adapter'. This lets you connect a USB-A cable into the Pixel to transfer data from another Android or iOS device.
Going around the sides, we see that Google kept the slightly rounded frame instead of going flat, which is the current trend. Once again, the power button is positioned higher than the volume rocker, and we found ourselves hitting the volume up button way too often, so it takes some time to get used to. We just wished the power button had a different tactile...
The new Pixel 4 XL comes in minimally labeled packaging. A colorfully designed "P4" adorns the front of the box. Although we received the Pixel 4 in the standard retail packaging, some of the first ones to pre-order the phone had them delivered in Google-fied cereal boxes.
